Bait and Switch Conmen In St Albans
Please be careful when asking for a carpet cleaning quote from someone offering very cheap prices. This is usually a “bait and Switch” strategy that will leave you out of pocket and sometimes with ruined furnishings.
This is how it works:
Someone will offer carpet cleaning in St Albans. They will have a leaflet or similar offer £10 per room etc. This looks like a good deal but when they arrive and set up their machinery they will start adding costs for “Detergent” Fabric Protector” “Anti-Static” etc.
These con-men usually prey on the elders of the community and others that are vulnerable.
Please don’t take a risk with these people. If it looks to good to be true it usually is.
